Iran Replaced Saudi Arabia As India’s Second Largest Oil Supplier

While Iraq continued to be India’s biggest oil supplier, Iran replaced Saudi Arabia for the second position, between April and June, said, Dharmendra Pradhan. He said that Tehran offered better discounts. In 2017, during the same time, India imported 2,79,000 barrels every day from Iran, whereas Iraq exported 7.27 million tonnes of oil to India and Saudi moving to 3rd position exported 5.22 million tonnes.
