Iraqi Army Reaches Tal Afar

The US-Trained elite forces of Counter Terrorism Service have entered the Urban proximity of Tal Afar on the third day of a multi-pronged operation, according to a military commander. This area was formerly held by the Islamic State militants, who imposed low or no resistance upon the entering troops. The situation is expected to get harder as the troops move into town.
