Joe Biden warns China against expansionist intentions

Days after assuming power as the United States president, Joe Biden has sent clear signals to China, warning Beijing against any expansionist intentions in East and Southeast Asia. The Biden administration has ensured that Washington stands in support of Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Biden also reiterated US government's commitment to defend Japan, including the Senkaku Islands, during the conversation with PM Yoshihide Suga.
