Just 2.25% of citizens filed RTI in India: Report

According to a report by Transparency International India, only 24 out of 155 posts of Information Commissioner both at the Central & State level are vacant. The report also states there are only 7 women Information Commissioner in India which is approximately 4.5% of the total sanctioned post. However, it also highlights that only 5 Information Commissions maintain data on threat and harassment cases.
