Karnataka Speaker Ramesh Kumar,70, met 10 rebel lawmakers to keep up an SC order but it was unlikely to accept the resignations in the coming hours. The only reason he claims is 'obligation to the state'. The lawmakers have, however, alleged that he is deliberately delaying his decision on the resignation letters submitted to him just for buying the ruling coalition enough time to shore up its numbers.
