Kazakhstan gets new president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev bagged victory

In the elections time, Kazakhstan elected Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as its new president with over 70% votes. He is succeeding the former president Nursultan Nazarbayev. While Tokayev bagged 70.76% of the votes his competitor Amirzhan Kosanov bagged 16.2% votes. People raised protests as they wanted to boycott it as they call it a fixed election. Nearly 500 people along with deputy minister have been arrested.
