Kudankulam nuclear power plant is safe, not affected: India affirms nuclear watchdog IAEA

The Union govt informed nuclear watchdog IAEA that nuclear power plant Kudankulam in TN is safe & not affected by the recent espionage attempt allegedly perpetrated by North Korean group. IAEA contacted concerned authorities in India who confirmed plant systems didn't get affected. The agency will extend technical assistance if the need arises as multiple reports claiming hackers gained domain controller-level access at the KKNPP.
