Laser pointed at Rahul Gandhi’s head in Amethi, not Sniper but mobile’s torch: Govt

The life of the Congress president Rahul Gandhi was under threat after a laser pointed towards his head was seen when he was in Amethi to file his nomination on Wednesday. The letter after the incident was written to Union home ministry to inform that light was seen at 7 different places on his head which could have come from Sniper, who in return said that the light was of mobile phone’s torch and not Sniper.
