Letter pledging to support new citizenship law fake: Shivsena MP

Shiv Sena MP Hemant Patil on Thursday said that a letter purportedly pledging his support to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act is "fake". The comment from Sena leader came in the wake of reports in a section of media that said the lawmaker wrote to the administration of his constituency Hingoli in Maharashtra in support of the amended citizenship law. Patil said he has complained about it to police in Hingoli.
