Make "difficult decisions to secure economic independence": Mike Pompeo urges Sri Lanka

US State Department Secretary Mike Pompeo will be visiting several Asia countries including India and Sri Lanka during his trip to the region from October 25 to 30. During his trip to Colombo, Pompeo will be urging Sri Lanka to make tough decisions and review its relations with China. "We encourage Sri Lanka to review the options we offer for transparent and sustainable economic development," said Dean Thompson.
