Mamata Banerjee pitches idea of forming 'core group' to take on BJP in 2024

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee while speaking at the virtual meeting of opposition parties convened by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, suggested the formation of a core group to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. "Mamata Banerjee floated the idea of forming a core group for Opposition unity against BJP, whose meeting should be held every three-four days," Sharad Yadav told the media.
