Maneka welcomes long-awaited decision over animal-free circus

Maneka Gandhi, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development, has welcomed the decision over the ban of animals in the circuses. The Center on Saturday has moved a proposal for the animal-free circuses to her to which she said that it was the long-awaited decision and it should be done. The UM of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has asked for comments from various stakeholders over the decision.
