Mike Pence decides against removing Trump, writes to Nancy Pelosi

Responding to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's call to invoke the 25th amendment to remove Donald Trump from the White House, Vice President Mike Pence refused to do so while adding that the amendment should not be used “as a means of punishment or usurpation”. He also urged Congress to avoid any such action to “further divide and inflame the passions of the moment”. He said such a course of action was not in the national interest.
