More than 23 million Americans cast their vote ahead of the polling day

While the polling day for US Presidential elections is on November 3, more than 23 million people have already cast their votes. This marked a huge increase in the number of voters casting their votes during this in comparison to 6 million people during the 2016 elections. More than 2 million voters came out to vote in California, Texas and Florida. Most of the voting has taken place through in-person or by mail-in voting
