Myanmar military to clarify election fraud, hold new round of elections

Hours after declaring an emergency and detaining top leaders of the country, Myanmar military leadership chaired the National Defense and Security Council meeting with Acting President U Myint Swe and other leaders. Myanmar military Commander-in-Chief Min Aung Hlaing has issued a notification saying the military will clarify all the irregularities that took place during the elections and will hold another round of elections.
