Narsapuram MP arrested by Andhra CID after he calls for cancellation of Chief Minister's bail

Andhra Pradesh Criminal Investigation Department arrested Narsapuram MP Kanumuri Raghurama Krishnam Raju on Friday for sedition. Kanumuri's arrest came weeks after the leader asked a CBI special court to cancel the bail granted to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in a disproportionate assets case. Kanumuri, a rebel YSR Congress leader, was arrested from his residence in Hyderabad. He was also accused of indulging in hate speeches.
