To enhance the capability of the Indian armed forces to fight in the space, the government has approved a new agency to be set up for the development of new space warfare weapon systems. PM Modi is heading the cabinet committee that has approved the setup of the new agency called Defense Research Space Agency (DSRO), and it will be provided with a team of researchers and scientists working closely with the defense services.
