Nguyen Xuan Phuc sworn in as Vietnam President after successful handling of Covid

Top Vietnamese leader Nguyen Xuan Phuc has earned nationwide praise for handling the coronavirus pandemic successfully. 66-year-old Phuc was sworn in as the country's President in Hanoi on Monday. Phuc was Vietnam's prime minister for the last five years and the economy of the country saw significant growth under his regime. Phuc's government response against Covid also earned him praise in and outside the country.
