Nitish Kumar launches pension scheme for poor above age of 60

The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar has launched a scheme for poor above the age of 60. Under his newly launched scheme, the Mukhyamantri Vriddha Pension Yojna, poor people above the age of 60 will get Rs 400 per month and poor people above the age of 80 will get Rs 500 per month. The scheme, which is effective from 1st April, 2019, will exclude retired government employees. The scheme will give them respect.
