No plan to introduce the 1000 Rupees new denomination for now

The news regarding the introduction of new Rs. 1000 notes to be acting as a replacement of the previous Rs.1000 currency denominations have proved to be a false one for the time being. Mr. Shubhash Chandra Garg, the Economic Affairs Secretary has announced that the denomination of 1000 Rupee notes would be introduced respectively but it has been delayed due to the production of new 500 Rupee notes.
