No renewal of insurance for vehicles without PUC, says SC
According to a new directive by the SC, insurance of cars that don't have pollution under control (PUC) certificates won't be renewed. The court also asked the Centre to ensure that all petrol pumps have PUC centres. The court granted four weeks time to the Central government to ensure that functional PUC centres are put up in the NCR.
