Outgoing Trump administration blacklists major Chinese firms including Xiaomi

Days before the transition of power, the outgoing Donald Trump administration in US has blacklisted major Chinese firms for their alleged links with the Chinese military. Nine Chinese firms including Xiaomi were added to the Pentagon's list of companies with association with the Chinese military. The Trump administration has imposed new restrictions on executives of state-owned enterprises, CCP officials and oil giant CNOOC.
