Pak fearful of "strategic encirclement" with India's presence in Afghanistan: US

According to an independent report by the Congressional Research Service (CRS) on Afghanistan, Pakistan's security services have maintained connections with Haqqani Network and other insurgent groups in Afghanistan. The report says that "Pakistan's security establishment is fearful of a strategic encirclement by India due to India's diplomatic and commercial presence in Afghanistan and US rhetorical support for it.
