A top official has announced that Pakistan has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund on a bailout package, according to which the cash-strapped nation will receive $6 billion over three years. The staff-level agreement is currently waiting for formal approval from the IMF board of directors. The monetary help will support Pakistan to become stronger & grow by reducing domestic & external imbalances.
