Pakistan calls recall of Afghan ambassador, senior diplomats 'regrettable'

Pakistan has expressed its regret over Afghanistan's decision to recall its ambassador and other senior diplomats from Islamabad after the abduction and torture of the daughter of its envoy. "The decision by the Government of Afghanistan to recall its Ambassador and senior diplomats from Pakistan is unfortunate and regrettable,” the foreign office of Pakistan said while calling on the Afghan government to reconsider the decision.
