Pakistan missed the deadline of filing a resolution on Kashmir in UNHRC

Pakistan has failed to file a resolution on Kashmir at the ongoing UNHRC as the last day to file a request for resolution was Sept 19. The session had started on Sept 9 & ends on Sept 27. Pak didn't garner the minimum support of 16 nations for entry of the request, so it did not file the petition. Pak's foreign affairs minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had promised the people of his nation to raise the Kashmir issue.
