Panchayat election candidates stick campaign posters on stray dogs in Uttar Pradesh

The panchayat election candidates in Uttar Pradesh found a bizarre way to campaign for the elections. Two candidates, one from Rae Bareli and the other from the Ballia district stick their posters on stray dogs for their election campaign. The candidates let the dogs roam around after sticking their posters. The move angered many people after the pictures of the dogs went viral. Animal activists also urge the police to take action.
