Nobel Winner Abhijit Banerjee is a man of 'totally left-leaning thinking': Piyush Goyal

Union Minister Piyush Goyal has rubbished the evaluation of the Nobel Prize winner economist Abhijit Banerjee. Goyal said on Friday that he is proud as an Indian for Abhijit winning a Nobel but he doesn’t agree with Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee’s ideas. He further mentioned that Banerjee had supported Congress’s proposal of the NYAY scheme which was rejected by people of the country in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
