Piyush Goyal said nations should have sovereign right to use citizen's data

The Indian Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal was speaking at G20 Trade Ministers’ meeting when he said that all the nations should have sovereign right to use their data which includes personal and public data, for the benefit of citizens, and push for free trade shouldn't be significantly lead to justification of data free flow. He further said that security and privacy should be considered for free flow.
