PM Modi announces Rs 500 cr relief fund for Bihar
PM Modi has announced Rs. 500cr as relief package for flood-hit areas of Bihar after visiting the state along with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Modi. Separately, Modi has also announced Rs.2L each for kin of those who died in the floods and Rs. 50,000 for the injured. The death toll due to floods in Bihar stands at 418 in 19 districts.
