PM Modi contributed $1 million to COVID-19 ASEAN Response Fund

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended monetary support of $1 million to the COVID-19 ASEAN Response Fund at the 17th ASEAN-India Summit. The PM highlighted "India's response and broader support to the international community" during the pandemic, at the virtual summit. The Ministry of External Affairs said PM Modi also spoke about the "importance of greater physical and digital connectivity between ASEAN."
