Political crisis in Nepal as President dissolves parliament, elections to be held in November

Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the country's parliament Friday midnight on the recommendation of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli. This was after K P Sharma Oli and the Opposition parties came face to face, staking a claim for the formation of a new government. President Bhandari announced mid-term polls on November 12 and 19. The mid-term elections will be held in two phases later this year.
