Pranab's meeting with Bal Thackeray upsets Sonia

Pranab Mukherjee, Former President accepted that Sonia Gandhi, Congress chief was upset from him meeting late Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray in the run-up to the 2012 presidential election as she was against any such interactions. Mukherjee in his book "The Coalition Years" revealed about the meeting. He wrote that the meeting took place on the advice of Sharad Pawar, a part of the Congress-led UPA-II government.
