In a major setback for United States President Donald Trump, the H-1B visa ban issued by him in June this year has been blocked by a federal judge in San Francisco. District Judge Jeffrey White blocked the ban while noting that President Trump "exceeded" his constitutional authority. This comes days after several companies filed a lawsuit against the department of commerce and the department of homeland security.
