President's Rule in Jammu & Kashmir extended for another 6 months : Cabinet

Jammu & Kashmir was under the presidency rule since Dec 2018 & then was put under Governor's rule after BJp parted from the coalition government with the PDP in June last year. Now, the Union Cabinet has approved the extension of the Presidency's rule in J&K for 6 months. Once the Amarnath Yatra ends, assembly elections will be held later in J&K. Security forces have been deployed already in all yatra routes & national highway.
