Protestors in Cuba demand freedom, vaccines and food

The island is in its worst financial crisis since the fall of the Soviet Union, as well as an increase in fatal coronavirus epidemics. As Cuba tries to recover from the worldwide COVID-19 epidemic, thousands of Cubans have taken to the streets in Havana and other cities, demanding vaccinations and food. According to the Miami Herald, several protesters chanted "down with the dictatorship" as they insulted President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
