Punishing myself for my sins: TMC leader does sit-ups on stage while joining BJP

Another TMC leader joined BJP ahead of the assembly elections in the state. Susanta Pal, the block level Trinamool Congress leader joined the saffron party in the presence of Suvendu Adhikari and other members of the BJP. Pal created news as he did sit-ups on the stage and apologised to the people for leaving BJP and joining TMC in 2005. “I am now asking for forgiveness for my sins by punishing myself,” he said.
