Rahul Gandhi's aide arrested by Hathras Police under sedition charges

In a major action, Congress leader and Rahul Gandhi's aide Shyoraj Jivan has been arrested by Hathras Police under sedition charges. Jivan was caught on camera inciting riots in Hathras over the death and alleged gangrape of a Dalit woman. “I am not a rioter. Whole life I have worked to promote communal harmony. I have been in people's service for the last 40 years and not a single FIR has been filed against me," Jivan said.
