Railways Parcel business gets a hike with Amazon being roped in to transport goods

The railways' parcel business gets a huge boost with e-retail giant Amazon being roped in to transport goods by train. The railways are going to give Amazon space in 2 of its premium trains - Sealdah Rajdhani & Mumbai Rajdhani for a period of 1 month, which may be extended to 3 months based on the feedback they will receive. Amazon will pay freight charges equal to the highest lease rate on the same train on a pro-rata basis.
