Rajiv Kumar is new NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman

Economist Rajiv Kumar has been appointed as NITI Aayog's new vice-chairman by the Centre. Founding Director of Pahle India Foundation, Kumar will be taking over from Arvind Panagariya. Dr Kumar is currently a senior fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, a non-governmental think tank on public policy. Meanwhile, the Centre has also appointed Vinod Paul, a Paediatrician at AIIMS, as a member of NITI Aayog.
