Riots accused suspended-AAP councillor Tahir Hussain arrested by Delhi police after court rejects surrender plea

The Delhi police today arrested the riot accused suspended Aam Aadmi Party councillor Tahir Hussain, who moved the court seeking to surrender before it. Tahir Hussain, who was absconding after he was linked to the death of an IB officer in the Delhi violence, went to a Delhi court on Thursday afternoon to surrender. However, the court rejected Tahir's plea. He has now been taken to the crime branch.
