Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin announced a COVID-19 pandemic time relief of Rs 4,000 for the people of the state, a cut in Aavin milk rate, and free travel for women in state-run buses. With this, the CM fulfilled the promises made by his party DMK ahead of the April 6 assembly election in the state. After taking over as CM, Stalin also announced bringing COVID-19 treatment in private hospitals under a government insurance scheme.
