SC tells Jaypee Infratech to deposit Rs 2,000 cr
The Supreme Court on September 4 stayed insolvency proceedings against Jaypee Infratech which has defaulted on loans worth crores after the home buyers’ filed a plea. Today, the SC asked the Jaypee to deposit Rs 2,000 crore by October 27. Also, in a big blow to Jaypee, the apex court also restrained Jaypee’s MD and other directors from flying abroad without its prior permission.
