SC to reopen files of 84 anti Sikh riots
A special team will be formed under the leadership of retired judge of the SC and files of 1984 anti-Sikh riots will be reopened again as ordered by SC today. After the assassination of PM Indira Gandhi in 1984, 2,733 people were killed in the riots in Delhi and after the filing of closure report by SIT, files of 241 cases were closed. In August last year, the SC said that the SIT didn't properly investigate these cases.
