NCP skips opposition meeting called by Sonia Gandhi

Sharad Pawar-led from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)skipped an opposition party meeting on Friday, the meeting was called by the Congress President, Sonia Gandhi, hinting at further cracks in the joint opposition. Senior NCP leader Praful Patel said the party decided to boycott the meeting in protest against the “lies” spread by the Congress that its legislators had voted against Ahmed Patel in Gujarat.
