Sonia Gandhi summons Navjot Singh Sidhu; elevation as Punjab Congress chief on cards?

Amid the talks of elevation of Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Punjab Congress Chief, party president Sonia Gandhi has summoned him to Delhi. Sidhu will be meeting Sonia Gandhi at her 10 Janpath residence on Friday morning. Congress’s Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat will also attend the meeting. This comes as the rift between Sidhu and Punjab CM Amarinder Singh continues to grow. However, Amarinder Singh is likely to remain the CM.
