The Enforcement Directorate recorded the statement of Deputy Commissioner of Police Raju Bhujbal on Thursday in connection with the money laundering case involving former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Bhujbal is the current in-charge of the enforcement wing of Mumbai Police and heads the social service branch. Several other police officials are likely to be questioned by the agency in connection with the case.
