Student refuses to accept Gold Medal over Citizenship Law, thrown out of Convocation

Rabeeha Abdurehim, a student of Pondicherry University & a gold medal winner alleged that she was barred from attending the convocation ceremony at which President Kovind was the chief guest. She refused to accept the Gold Medal to express her solidarity with students protesting against the CAA. She claims that she was asked to leave the auditorium by police before the convocation began & was allowed only after the President left.
