Supreme Court asks parliament to decriminalize politics

The Supreme Court said that parliament needs to make laws to stop individuals with serious criminal records or pending crime cases against them to enter and be part of law making of the country. A five-judge bench said that it cannot enter the legislative arena of the parliament to disqualify any candidate and that it why parliament needs to bring its own laws to stop adding corruption to politics.
