Tamil Nadu cabinet wants Rajiv Gandhi's killers to be released

Taking an action regarding the writ petition by A G Perarivalan, one of the convicts of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, the Tamil Nadu cabinet has decided to send a recommendation to the Governor to release all the convicts in the case. The convicts namely, Nalini Sriharan, Murugan alias Sriharan, Perarivalan Alas Arivu, Robert Payas, Ravichandran, Santhan and Jayakumar have been in prison for last 27 years.
